Where to Stay for our Honeymoon in Phuket

Hi

I want to spend my honeymoon in Phuket but I don't know which is a better hotel area to choose.

I have two choices ..

The first is a hotel in Kata and the other is in Koh Yao Yai / Koh Yao Noi ..

The hotel in Koh Yao is cheaper where we can stay in a pool villa with sea views, however I am afraid transportation will be difficult to Kata and other nice places to visit.

And as for the hotel in Kata, it will be more expensive then the hotel on Koh Yao, so I will have to take a room without a pool.

So what should I choose the hotel in Kata without a pool to avoid transportation problems, or it won't be big problem?

Hi Reham,

Congratulations, you and your partner have chosen a wonderful destination in Thailand for your honeymoon.

Phuket is a fantastic spot with lots of attractions and things to do, and one of our favorite beaches is Kata Beach.

The Koh Yao Islands are located halfway between Phuket and the mainland of Krabi.

As a suggestion I would try to combine the two destinations in one holiday.

For your first 3 nights why not stay in the pool villa on Koh Yao where you and your partner can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Islands.


Then return to Phuket and stay at a hotel in Kata Beach where transportation to all the attractions around the island is much easier.


By staying at both destinations you and your partner will enjoy the best of both worlds.
