Tri Tra Beach, Phuket, Thailand

Just 5 minutes out of Patong to the south is Tri Tra Beach, a relaxing and hassle free paradise, where you can spend the day just chilling out or if you want some action hire a jet ski or do some parasailing without the crowds and danger of the busy Patong Beach traffic.

If you enjoy your beach massages you must try the massage hut in front of the Tri Trang beach Resort, they are excellent and the setting is so relaxing.

We stayed at Tri Tra Beach during our holidays in August and enjoyed a mixture of beautiful clear days to great days with an ocassional afternoon storm and the serenity of an almost deserted beach, so different to Patong.

I would highly recommend if you want to escape the rat race of Patong, head out and stay a few nights at the Tri Trang Beach Resort. If you need to head back into town you can catch the resorts shuttle bus and a Tuk Tuk will only cost you around 200Baht to 250Baht to get back depending on which end of Patong beach you are coming from.
