How Far From Phuket Airport To Krabi

Hi there,

I am flying into Phuket in January and am looking for accommodation.

Krabi looks exactly what we are looking for.

We are three middle aged girls!

How long is the transfer to Krabi and how much would it cost for a taxi?

We are looking to rent a small house or villa Thanks

Hi Liz,

From Phuket to Krabi by road will take around 2 - 2.5 hours.

We usually hire a car to get around, however as we are getting a little older and the traffic is much busier we now choose to use a transfer service provided by Easy Day Thailand.
Easy Day Thailand have all the appropriate licenses and insurance and their vehicles are well maintained.

For accommodation in Krabi we usually stay around Ao Nang as we find it more central and easy to get around.


Another option that may interest you is to catch a ferry from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi and spend a couple of days exploring the islands before catching another ferry from Phi Phi to Krabi. Easy Day Thailand can also organise ferry transfers as well.
