Superior Rooms in the Bhuri Wing offers guests garden, pool or ocean views. The rooms are set back from the beach and have either a king bed or twin beds and are suitable for two adults.

Deluxe Rooms in the Bhuri Wing are slightly bigger then the superior rooms and are suitable for two adults and two children under 12 and have either an extra large king size bed or two queen size beds.

The Bhuri wing of the resort is not set directly on the beach; however you only have to cross a quiet road that is within the resort grounds to get to the beach.

Junior Suites in the Thani Wing offer guests, partial or full ocean views from the large balcony. Theses rooms have king sized beds or twin beds and are suitable for three adults.

Grand Suites in the Thani Wing are fitted with modern amenities, and offer guests luxury features including a private entry, an oversized bath and rain shower, four separate living areas, a DVD and CD player and spectacular ocean views from the balcony. The Grand suites are fitted with king size beds or twin beds and are suitable for three adults.

If you are after more room for your family vacations, there is a two bedroom family suite in the Thani wing, which comes complete with 2 bathrooms, and a large living and dining area. The family suite has a king size bed in the main bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. The family suites are suitable for four people.

There is also a two storey villa in the Bhuri wing, which is also ideal for family vacations. The villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen and dining area. The villa is also suitable for four people.

All of the 479 rooms at the Kata thani Beach Resort have private balconies with ocean views or views overlooking the pools or landscaped tropical gardens. All rooms are fitted with air conditioning, satellite TV, Mini-Bar, complimentary bottled water, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobe and slippers, hair dryer, in room safe and internet access - charges apply

The Kata thani has a great range of facilities and services for guests to enjoy and boasts six stunning swimming pools, three Jacuzzis, two fitness centers, a dive shop, two tennis courts, table tennis, meeting rooms, sauna, a games room and a kids club.

The Kata thani also has its own Beach Club, facilities at the beach club include a kid’s pool and waterslide, covered lounge area, a bubbling water spring, Jacuzzi and a bar. The Beach Club it is located on the beachfront in front of the Bhuri Wing.

The Katathani has a great selection of restaurants, with all 6 restaurants offering a great range of high quality food. Not only is there six restaurants, there is a good range of bars at the Katathani for guests to relax. The Mango Bar and Coconut Bar are both pool bars and are ideally located overlooking Kata Noi beach. Happy hour at the pool bars is from 5.30pm to 6.30pm daily.

The resort provides a shuttle bus from the resort into Patong or Phuket Town for around 150 Baht per person return.

Travel Tips:The beach chairs in the gardens and around the pools in the resort are free for guests to use. On the beach you will have to rent the sunbeds from the beach vendors, expect to pay around 200 baht for two sun beds which includes the use of an umbrella for the day.

There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance outside the resort grounds, offering a range of delicious food at cheaper prices.

Kata Beach is within walking distance from the resort, but it is up hill. For those who don’t want to walk, tuk tuks and taxis are available and will charge around 150 baht each way to Kata, 250 baht to Karon and 500 baht to Patong Beach.
