New Years Eve in Sydney

New Years Eve in Sydney

Sydney in January is unreal.

New Years Eve, the biggest night of the year never disappoints if you are on Sydney Harbour.

You must experience New Years Eve in Sydney at least once in your lifetime!

The harbour is sparkling, the fireworks are amazing and the atmosphere is just brilliant.

Many people set up their positions on the harbour the day beforehand, usually camping out overnight to get prime vantage viewpoints.

Boats are anchored early morning waiting for the evening ahead.

It is truly worth the wait and the effort.

The fireworks are getting bigger and bigger each year.

2009/2010 it truly looked like the bridge was on fire, a big barbecue as someone said.

One of the best things for families is to get tickets to North Sydney Pool Family Fun Night,
which is great value and you sit in a closed off secure environment right on the harbour.

There is plenty of activities for the kiddies, with face painters, pool toys and great for everyone to be able to cool off in the pool with a swim.

Sunset over the harbour and the family fireworks are on at 9.00p.m.

Absolute BEST VALUE for families wanting to see the fireworks.

January then continues with the Sydney Festival with lots of free events for everyone.

The absolute best time to be in Sydney!!
