Update 2021 - The Horizon Patong Beach Resort is permanently closed, it has been knocked down and a new resort has been built on the site called the Anona Beachfront Phuket Resort.
The Horizon Patong Beach Resort was located in the heart of Patong.
The resort was situated directly across the road from Patong beach and was within easy walking distance to all the nightlife, shopping, bars and restaurants in Patong.
The resort has a sister hotel that is still welcoming guests called the Horizon Karon Beach Resort, located at Karon Beach. Karon Beach is one of our favorite beaches in Phuket, and it could be yours too.
The Horizon Patong had a good variety of rooms available to choose from, including family rooms and suites.
All the rooms were of a high standard, very spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
Superior Rooms at the Horizon had views of the garden or pool and featured either a King size bed or two single beds.
These rooms were located within the Emerald wing
Deluxe Rooms at the Horizon featured one king size bed or two queen size beds. With either a balcony or terrace with views overlooking the swimming pool.
Family Rooms at the Horizon Patong Beach Resort were great for family vacations. The rooms were spacious with a choice of either one king size bed or 2 queen beds. Each of the family rooms had a kitchenette that comes complete with a stove, toaster, microwave oven and refrigerator with views of the fountain or garden.
Junior Suites were ideal for romantic getaways or honeymoon vacations in Phuket. Junior Suites had king size beds, a DVD player, self-contained living areas, an en-suite and a private indoor Jacuzzi. Each suite had either a balcony or terrace with pool views.
If you were travelling with kids, the Horizon Patong Beach Resort was an ideal choice as there was interconnecting rooms available on request.
All rooms and suites at the Horizon Patong were well equipped with modern amenities including:
There was good range of facilities at the Horizon Beach Resort which I have listed below.
If you were looking for a place to unwind the Morradok Spa; had a range of treatments, massages and facials.
If you wanted to eat in; the Horizon Patong Beach Resort had a fantastic choice of places to eat, with two of the restaurants offering fine dining.
Baluchi Restaurant was the only award winning Indian Restaurant in Phuket, which served a delicious selection of kebabs, curries and tandoori dishes.
Borsalino Restaurant had a fine selection of authentic Italian dishes, pizza, pasta and steak, with a great selection of international wines.
The Sports Bar had a good variety of cocktails, drinks and light snacks. Here you could watch all major sports on the big screen T.V, or take part in a range of fun activities such as darts, snooker, board or electronic games.
The swim-up Pool Bar and the Sala Bar were great spots for a relaxing drink or a bite to eat, serving delicious light snacks and a range of tasty refreshments.
If you were looking to stay at the Horizon Patong Beach Resort, take a look at the Horizon Karon Beach Resort which is located overlooking the beautiful Karon Beach. The resort is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways or holidaying with friends, offering affordable room rates for all types of budgets.
The Horizon at Karon Beach runs a complimentary shuttle bus service for all hotel guests between Karon Beach and Patong daily.
