Issue No 6, 30th April 2010

This issue….

Wow…. April has flown by so fast.

With everything that is going on in Bangkok along with the start of the low season, it is definitely time to start and search for the best hotel and resort bargains that are around.

I found some of the best deals through the search engines that we use to book our accommodation. At the moment the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas have great specials on their 2 bedroom Villas, the normal price is 11,545 baht but at the moment through Agoda is 4,600 baht.

Another bargain at the moment is the Centara Karon Resort for only 1,516 baht or $51.00 a night normally 3,366 baht or $112.00.

Have a look through both of our hotel search engines on our Phuket Thailand Hotels page to find the best bargain for you.

What’s on in Phuket in April 2010

Phuket One Village One Product Fair runs until May 4 and is bound to attract thousands of people with an eye for a bargain and something a little different. For anyone that is longing for a little taste-bud adventure, this is the place to go. Located in Saphan Hin Park in Phuket Town.

The Phuket Paragliding Club, Thailand, are to host their first ever `Fun Fly’ paragliding festival from 21 – 23 May 2010. The festival is backed by several local authorities and tourism boards, with organizers hoping to make Fun Fly an annual event, boosting tourism to the area. It will feature synchronised paragliding displays, spot landing demonstrations and a photo contest. The competition will be held at Promthep Cape, at an area known as Kho Dang, near the landmark wind-power turbine at the southern tip of the Island.

The Phuket Seafood Festival is held in May to publicize Phuket's famous and delicious seafood and to invite visitors to come to Phuket during the rainy season, activities include, cultural shows, demonstrations of regional cuisines and of course seafood.

We hope that you have enjoyed this issue of Phuket Travel Secrets e-zine.
