Paradise in Phuket

I discovered Phuket through my travels in the U.S. Navy. We spent 3-4 days in port and enjoyed our on shore days the best. I discovered Phuket and the warm welcome of the locals and enjoyed many of the activities that the island has to offer.

Anchoring off the coastline we got to see the beauty of the island with its white sandy beaches with the mountains behind. The beaches are beautiful especially in the high season when the water is calm and crystal clear, excellent for snorkelling or just cooling off during the heat of the day.

The nightlife was something to experience, with many happy memories, I had the time of my young life at one of their night clubs, it was so much fun, I started doing push ups on the dance floor. I still tell people about this.

The people accepted us and welcomed us to their island. You have not lived until you have visited this island paradise called Phuket.
