Room amenities at the Allamada-Phuket include individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled drinking water, shower and bathtub, bathrobes and slippers. The Suites that we stayed in overlooking the lagoon and main pool area are now rented out as condominiums and are serviced by a rental agency.

Travel Tip 1: Take the complimentary resort shuttle bus to the entrance of the Laguna Complex and walk to the shops just outside the complex to purchase food or to get a taxi it is much cheaper then within the resort.

Travel Tip 2: The restaurants within the resort are excellent, however you will find some fantastic restaurants on the beach that have a great selection of delicious meals. These restaurants are not attached to any of the resorts in the Laguna Complex, and the meals are much much cheaper.

Travel Tip 3: If you are in need of a massage, hair braiding, or nail art head down to the beach, again prices are much cheaper then within the resort complex.

It takes around 30 minutes by taxi to get to Patong, and taxis in Phuket are not cheap. So if you were planning to stay at the Allamanda Phuket and want to spend a lot of time in Patong, you should look at either hiring a motorbike or a car or stay somewhere closer to the activities of Patong.
